Hi All,
I thought I might start a thread explicitly about feature suggestions for ProFit. Please reply with any ideas!
Cheers,

We'd be quite interested to be able to fit several objects simultaneously with different PSFs and tying together some fit parameters. This could be used to simultaneously fit data in multiple observations bands; or to fit galaxies in data overlap regions. I think the key point here (which isn't possible yet as far as I'm aware) is the different PSFs; fitting multiple objects with the same PSFs and tying together some parameters is already possible.

Yes Sarah- that is definitely on the longer term plan. It will be required in order to do multi-band fitting simultaneously. It shouldn't be that hard to implement because of how organise the objects into distinct lists. A way I'd probably think of doing it is having an additional structure that matches the model list but tells ProFit what data to compare to (for the likelihood) and what PSF to use for convolution. The default would be to use the same for everything of course, so doing nothing would let things behave as they currently do. I'll need to give it a bit more thought, but this is the route I'll probably take.
