Not precisely on topic but pretty relevant.
I have had three different PhD students in the last three weeks asking me about how to interpret Bayes Factors in ProFit, their relation to log-marginal likelihood, and the impact of prior choice on all of the above.
I am creating some content for a new astrostats course over at UWA, so I thought I would send round some worked examples rather than the theoretical answers I’ve been giving. If this is a topic of interest to you then please have a look here:
